I drove the car to the smog shop only to find out that the transmision(auto) was fried!!! -my wife was the test drivers @ sale w/as is sales. THE ENGINE RUNS GREAT, SMOG GUY GAVE A CHECK & SAID IT WOULD PASS the engine is great, the body great, interior great. just needs new trans. I've been looking for a used transmission for a year. found some for $500. just from dismantlers. I DON'T WANT THIS CAR ANY MORE. TO MUCH OF A LONER BRAND. GOT MY MANUEL FROM AMAZAON/U.K. I LIVE IN SONOMA, CA 95476 HAVE PINK SLIP & PAPERS I AM WILLING TO GIVE(FREE) THIS CAR TO SOMEONE THAT NEEDS IT OR WANTS TO FIX IT OR SELL IT, FOR THEIR OWN PROFIT. please contact me before I just JUNK it. definately not 'junk' just needs a new home. will send pix if interested. It would be sad to see a nice peugeot hitting the junk yard. Try ebay or autotrader, that also might generate more intrest and you might even make a couple bucks.
