'91 peugeot 405dl

I bought a 1991 peugeot 405dl/ 75k/ $500.

when I got it home& after paying off all the back DMV penalties($208.)

I drove the car to the smog shop only to find out that the transmision(auto)

was fried!!!

-my wife was the test drivers @ sale w/as is sales.

THE ENGINE RUNS GREAT, SMOG GUY GAVE A CHECK & SAID IT WOULD PASS

the engine is great, the body great, interior great.

just needs new trans.

I've been looking for a used transmission for a year.

found some for $500. just from dismantlers.

I DON'T WANT THIS CAR ANY MORE.

TO MUCH OF A LONER BRAND.

GOT MY MANUEL FROM AMAZAON/U.K.

I LIVE IN SONOMA, CA 95476

HAVE PINK SLIP & PAPERS

I AM WILLING TO GIVE(FREE) THIS CAR TO SOMEONE THAT NEEDS IT

OR WANTS TO FIX IT

OR SELL IT, FOR THEIR OWN PROFIT.

Have you tried giving your 405 away on [email protected]? I bet you would generate more interest on that site, more 405 fans there.

Damn. If I lived anywhere near California I would be all over that thing! I hope some one jumps on it. It would be sad to see a nice peugeot hitting the junk yard. Try ebay or autotrader, that also might generate more intrest and you might even make a couple bucks.
