Danielson camshaft

Right... this might be a wired question, but what data will I need to provide for the guys at the machine shop to grind me a Danielson camshaft??.

I have found a host of data in the archive.. but Im not certain exactly which of them I'll need..

This is all u need...

Danielson camshaft 200 cv

Open of the cams : 7,45 mm

Total Inlet time open : 278°

Total exhaust time open : 289°

croisement : 45°

Diagram :

AOA : 21°

RFA : 77°

AOE : 85°

RFE : 24°

Thanks V-M... I plan on taking my parts to the machine shop tomorrow....apart from the cam, the cylinderhead needs to be "levelled" and possibly I'll have the valves and seats grinded too.

And while Im there I'll probably also have the block decked for good measure...

I'm not sure whether my spare cam is too worn to be recut.. or if they indeed are able to do the dani specs with a Murena cam... and if they aren't.... expect I'll get in touch with you!! :lol:

The duration of the intake lobe is AOA + RFA + 180 = 254 degrees, and the duration of the exhaust lobe is AOE + RFE+ 180 = 248 degrees.

Overlap is AOA +RFE = 32.4 degrees.

Thanks Johnny... how about lift?.. I belive the Danielson cam has more than standard?
