  1. Thanks. Its an awesome car, its just going to be finding the right person with some money sitting in their pocket. We ended up with a CRV. A mighty big downgrade fun-wise from the Pug, but my wife has to drive it, not me.
  2. I'm selling my 405 mi16 with 104k. I love this car and it is a blast to drive, but we just had a kid and need something consistently reliable. It has been a daily driver for the last couple years and, with some exceptions, has gotten us around just fine. This is not a parts car or a project. It's could use some attention here and there, but it's good to go. $2850, obo. Located in Bellingham, WA. Email notsew54 at gmail dot com Pics on CL ad here: http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/4581062584.html Email if you want more or higher res. The good: -Runs well and happily revs all the way up -Timing belt and water pump were replaced less than 20k ago, brakes and harmonic balancer less than 10k ago. -5 speed manual, moonroof, leather, power seats and windows, new stereo -The most comfortable seats I've sat on in a car or otherwise -Speedline 15" wheels The not so good: -Three times over the last year it has refused to start - there is some issue we haven't been able to identify, I suspect the fuel pump. -When idling it will occasionally drop rpms, but never enough to lug or die. -The climate control computer broke some years ago, the previous owner replaced it will a pull actuator. This means the you can have hot air, or not hot air, but you can't have warm or cold air. It keeps you warm in the winter, but it's not ideal. -Loose trim here and there. -The paint and plastic is faded in places (notably the roof and spoiler). -Its a 20+ year old car, so it has issues. This car would make an awesome Sunday driver. It *could* be a daily driver, but it's not getting any younger. It deserves a nice garage with an occasional run down some curvy country roads to stretch its legs. Here is a good article to convince you to buy it: http://www.automobilemag.com/features/collectible_classic/1110_collectible_classic_1989_1991_peugeot_405mi16/
  3. 1982 505 TD sedan 5sp. 170,xxx miles. Piston bearing gave up, there is now a hole in the side of the block. Its in pretty good shape and there are a lot of usable parts. Recently professionally painted, no rust to speak of, interior is in good for its age. $500 obo, needs to be gone very soon. Located in Seattle. Forrest [email protected] 360-927-6906
