  1. Hello, Now that I once again have a working turbo in my car, I am determined to have a working turbo gauge. The gauge itself in the dash works, but it was receiving no signal from the sending unit. To that end, I replaced the vacuum line between the intake manifold and the boost gauge sending unit. Gauge still didn't work. On eBay last week, someone was selling a NOS boost gauge sending unit -- but for an '88-up 505 Turbo (Peugeot part # 1628.A5 -- see the attached pic). I figured...worth a try. I put it in today, and the gauge now responds to boost. However, it will only go between the first white line and the second white line...not even a quarter of the way up the scale on the gauge. (At this point, I'll mention that I have connected a calibrated auxiliary turbo gauge to make sure that the wastegate was working properly and that I wasn't overboosting. However, I want to have a stock look to the dash, and just want to make sure the factory gauge is in the right neighborhood). I noticed on the boost gauge sending unit that there is a screw on the front, right by the connection for the vacuum line. Is this for calibration? If so, will I be able to calibrate this to work correctly with my car, or is there a big enough difference in the boost gauge senders for the N9TE vs. N9TEA that it just won't work? Thanks, Adam '87 505 Turbo S 5-speed
  2. My other car is a 1970 Triumph Spitfire Mk3. Hmmm...two cars, both of which aren't sold anymore in the US. I must be crazy.
