  1. Try uploading a .xls file now. It should work.
  2. Ok, we'll look into something. Invision (this forum software) makes a gallery suite, which would hopefully integrate nicely into the forum. The alternative would be to use a free (preferred) solution such as Gallery2 from menalto (http://gallery.menalto.com/). I'm not sure how the user structure would work though. It'd be great if you could login to Gallery2 with your 505turbo.com forum logins, and upload/post/whatever that way. We are open to whatever, whatever sounds best to you guys we'll consider. If any of you are feeling energetic and want to check out some pro's or con's about either solution mentioned above, or have any other ideas please let us know. Disk space isn't an issue. We currently have 200+ gig's available. If you guys can upload 200gigs of Peugeot photo's I'll be so happy buying a TB drive won't be an issue
  3. I would probably say: 1. Convert internal (505turbo.com) info such as articles, and resources (505 spring data for example) as much as possible 2. Collaborate with other sources on centralizing all this data into our wiki How does that sound? Any way we do it is cool with us, we just want to see the thing get use (both from viewers as well as contributors). We should also talk about requirements / what all do we want? pdf support? maybe flashpaper integration? I know there are a lot of resources in pdf format, so should we try to convert that to web / wiki searchable data for easy findings, or should we keep them in pdf's but put in verbose keywords for easy findings. Just some things to throw out there to discuss. Also, if any of you have experience with wiki's or kb's, feel free to chip in. I'm either thinking mediawiki or phpkb. Not sure which one will suite our needs best in this situation though.
  4. Hey all, what do you think about setting up a wiki for upcoming articles and HOWTO's. I thought it might be a cool idea so you can all contribute. If you have something you'd like to document, add it to the wiki. I guess to start off, does anyone have experience using a wiki (or know what a wiki *for*)? What do you all think?
  5. adegnes, please update your email address.
  6. norcal505: I don't see the relation between the video you just posted and Peugeot's, or this thread in any way possible. Please keep your content on topic from now on.
  7. Alright, the few things we've setup seem to be working well. If there are any other breakdowns in the future please do email us (thanks Johnny), as there are times we check email more frequently then the forum.
  8. It's been something we've been dealing with for a few months now. I'm sure some of you have noticed a few posts here and there, but they are usually deleted, and the users are banned right after registration is complete and the first post is on the forum. Over the last week this has been getting more and more out of control, and of course last night was the worst. All the posts are gone and users are banned, but I'm planning on getting something setup this AM to try to prevent this from happening again/as much. Big apologies all. And thanks for the E-Mail Johnny.
  9. Nah, no pictures of the entire car as it's in lots of pieces, and torn apart in the garage. Once it's running again we'll post some pictures. The radiator is nice, except they kinda messed it up, and i haven't got the fixed one back yet. We'll post pictures once we get it. Prices: - radiator ~$1000 - turbo ~$500 Using a stock cam reground to Danielson Specs. We want to try to work with the stock system and kinda see what's possible. The wideband is the first step The T3 turbine housings? Yeah, the N9TE is a .36 A/R, and the N9TEA is a .48 A/R. The turbo used on the new project car is a .48 A/R (for sure!)
  10. We've just launched a blog which shows some of the things we've done so far to the new car. Keep an eye on this blog as we will continue to post any future changes we've made to the car. http://www.505turbo.com/86505/blog/ We're really hoping to have this car done soon, but it's once again time and budget limited. Some of the things that are on the future list: - Put the engine back together (uuh, yeah) - fmic - Wideband o2 - Engine tuning and LU-Jetronic (dare I say optimization? ) Once the engine is done and running well, we should be moving on to suspension / brakes (not sure which will come first). As always, enjoy, and any constructive feedback is welcome!
  11. The following are scans from the ignition checks section of the N9Txx engine manual. Pages covered: - G2.022 - G2.025 - G2.052(1) - G2.053(1) - G2.054(1) - G2.055(1) - G2.056 - G2.057 http://www.canam-peugeot.com/tech/n9_ignition_checks.pdf
  12. Thanks Johnny, your absolutely right. However, we do hope to have a complete manual online in the future http://www.505turbo.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=428
  13. Magazine Scan: http://www.505turbo.com/world_of_peugeot_vol2_no1.php Enjoy!
  14. We had some issues with traffic redirection. Welcome to hosting sites on an experimental server (Regarding the post on Peugeot-L) Huge apologies everyone. This site isn't going anywhere anytime soon. We'll be handing it off to someone else before it gets shut down by us if it ever comes to that. We'd really like to keep all of this valuable information alive for all 505 enthusiasts that are still out there.
  15. Just in case anyone wants to contact Peugeot motor's of North America:
  16. Is anyone else having technical difficulty viewing that website, or is it just me?
  17. Run 2 bar like the SUPERPRODUCTION crew! http://leverdie.club.fr/505_Superproduction.htm
  18. Apologies to all who are experiencing a big slowdown with the site today. Our ISP is experiencing some network problems, and are working on it. Hopefully it'll be back to normal soon.
  19. We are going to try out Google's Adsense program for a while to see how well they can index our site. We figure if they can do a good job, and will serve a PURPOSE to help us find places online to buy what we are talking about, then it will add to the forum overall. If they are a nuisance, and non-helpful we will get rid of them though. Please post comments / criticisms here
  20. Oh no, 505T is a mac user? I truly apologize 505T, make sure Safari is up to date (system update should take care of this). We tried to get the site as cross platform compatible as possible, but the Apple's were just giving us hell (and apologies for the weird looking DHTML menu's as well). I would suggest trying the following browsers: 1. Camino http://www.caminobrowser.org/ 2. Firefox http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/ We do intend to fix the mac problems in the future, but for now, sit tight
  21. I would ideally like to find a used one, but a new one would work as well. Any info appreciated. Please contact me via PM.
  22. The following is a procedure posted by Joe Grubbs to the Peugeot-L Mailing list back in 2002. Special thanks to Joe for letting us use this on 505turbo.com!
  23. OK, finally time for some updates! We've decided to re-order the form, and add a few new topics. I'm hoping this will better organize the increasing content we're producing. If any of you have any suggestions, or think we should change something please let us know here! Classifieds: There was a separate classifieds section with a forum for things For Sale, and another one for Wanted. Meanwhile there was a for sale/wanted thread in the general section which is just redundant. We've taken all the posts from the "Classifieds" section, and moved them to the single "For Sale/Wanted" forum in the general section. (If there is more traffic in this section in the future, we can split it up again). Technical Resources / Technical Discussion: Technical Resources was originally created for posting technical articles, manual's, procedures etc.. What we're going to do is move all the Technical *questions* out of that section into "Technical Discussion". Technical Resources has been changed so that if an article, or resource is posted, you may comment, but not start a new thread on your own. Technical discussion on the other hand is an open forum to post, upload pictures, etc etc. RSS Feeds: Yeah I know it's kind of a joke due to the forum being fairly low traffic as far as updates / changes are concerned, but for those of us who are all over RSS, there will be options. I still need to test / design how we're going to set this up, but as of now I'm thinking we'll have a feed for each forum and sub-forums. Feed's will be updated every 30 minutes. Lastly the TPS adjustment procedure JG posted to peugeot-l in 2002 has been posted in the tech section of the main site. I've also posted this in the Technical Resources section of the forum. At some point it'd be nice to combine all the technical resources / articles into one organized section without breaking any current links, but that will be later on down the road.
  24. Sorry about that Metako! I've raised the global upload limit, you should be able to post your pictures now.
  25. Just finished a few small updates. Enjoy! New Link: http://forum.405mi16.com/ New Link: http://405t16.free.fr/ New Video: http://www.505turbo.com/videos.php (Keep an eye out for new video's this week )
