Marc Posted March 22, 2018 Report Share Posted March 22, 2018 87 STX....A 30 day old rebuilt Delco starter wiring fell apart and shot electricity threw my wires. Problems: 1. fuel pump not getting electricity, I can start the car if if hot wire the fuel pump. 2. Head and tail lights and electrict windows only work if the engine/key is in the off position. I replaced the four electrical harnesses going to the engine and nothing changed. Has anyone had a starter freeze up with these problems. Please help, this has been going on for over a year.
