Bean
Post lots of pictures if you can. Miles on car? And for what it's worth - I wouldn't machine the rotors - they're so rare that you should run them as is. (I bead blasted my set that I sold years ago and it worked great.) yhzman
I'll see if I can get my brother to take some pictures... Car had 134k on it...
KB_fiver89
Master cylinder? do take a picture. I have an 89 and yet to come across something similar. Pictures would be worth a thousand words
yhzman
Will get my brother to snap a photo - definitely a very different unit than what is in my 86 Turbo non-ABS car...
Bean
ABS cars don't have a master cylinder - massive brake reservoir sits on the Teves ABS unit itself. Where are you located again Yhzman? Rabin
yhzman
Yes, looking at some photos of the ABS unit on the internet, that is exactly what it is... My car is in Halifax, but the parts car is in CT...
yhzman
Here are some pictures of the parts car, including some closeups of the hydraulic control unit (HCU)...
Bean
Shipping cost is always the issue - any chance you'll be transporting anything back to Canada? Hard to tell in pic - but looks like it has the '89+ steering wheel too. Rabin
yhzman
Let me know what you might be interested in... I go down there often and could bring back some things. Maybe could use Chit Chats Express to save on Canadian shipping? http://chitchatsexpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/on_ratecard_1608.pdf
Bean
I don't need anything per se - but I also don't want to see any ABS specific parts go to waste. Hopefully you find homes for it all - buy if not let me know. Correction as well on the steering wheel - rim looked thicker, bit I can see it's the proper steering wheel. Ruben Enriquez
Hi, do you have the big hose that connects from the air filter sensor to the turbo? If you do please let me know. Thanks
TimV
What kind of steering coupler does this have (the part connected to the steering rack)? Is it a universal joint or rubber coupling type? I'm looking for the u-joint type. If that's what you have, how much do you want for it? State Automotive
Hi, new to the forum. Trying to locate the intake tube for the N9te engine connected to the turbo. Curious if that is available on this vehicle and if you could grab a quick photo of it. Thanks in advance.
TimV
Sorry, I don't have any of the parts anymore.
is407
Hey YHZMAN Can you measure thickness of the front rotors, if they are not too worn the shipping maybe worth it to US - Oregon. Secondly I could use the shifting rods both if the knuckles aren't worn out.
