yatzee
My new to me mi16 has DRLs. What that seems to mean on this car is that the headlamps, tails, and cluster light up each and every time i turn on the car, regardless on where the light switch is. Is this normal? Goce
I've never seen DRLs on a 405 but i do not have any experience with US spec cars, i've seen headlights wired in the ignition, it was simple wiring near the fuse panel under the steering wheel, i will look there for any extra relays, cut wires or extra devices, normally lights are switched on the side indicator stalk, by rotating it. Hope this helps.
my3AWDgst
US cars never had DRL's but I'm not sure if Canadian models had them. Sounds to me like you have electrical fault most likely bad multi switch or stuck relay.
Mike T
Canadian 1991 models did have DRL but I think it was just the headlights. I had a 1989 Canadian model and it didn't have DRL.
