rickcjmc
Great discussions going on here. So, my last job netted me some very cool aluminum radiator/heat exchanger weldments, my first thought was intercoolers! The are about 36" by 10" (roughly guessing as it s cold out) and very nicely constructed. Anyways, my question is how big do the openings need to be to feed enough air to diesel engine? The main drawback of these are the openings are about 2" hose connections and it seems to me that may restrict airflow......? I've got like 3 or 4 of them.... Bean
2" is plenty big for low revving diesel since you're only going to be making under 200HP for sure. Any pictures? Core design will affect air flow efficiency, so curious what they look like. Rabin
