bill Posted July 22, 2014 Report Share Posted July 22, 2014 I have a Thule Roof Rack on the 505 for the bikes. I like how it attaches well to the rain gutters on the 505. Anyway, I had a chair that I found and put it up there. I forgot it was up there, and drove into the garage with the handy opener. Luckily for me, it cleared because it was small. This prompted me to google "bike rack accidents". It wasn't pretty. Some of the pictures are of bikes costing buckoo bucks. Then the damage to the house and the car. And then there's the insurance company, because things like stupidity aren't covered a lot of times.
