andrethx
so i recently bought a set of trunk hinges from another owner who is parting out a car. we tried to remove them a couple of months ago but had no luck -- it seemed like the bolt holding them in was not accessible, it was somewhere inside of the rear fender. we must have spent 30-60 minutes trying to get the hinges out, to no avail. i posted the question to aussiefrogs (spread the love!), and a very nice member there told me to look under the c-pillar panels, adjacent to the rear parcel shelf. sure enough, there is an access hole there big enough to fit a 13mm socket to remove the single bolt holding the hinge in. we couldn't see the hole before because it was covered with foam padding. here's a pic so you can see what i'm talking about: hope this helps somebody. andré
