  2. I have a 1970 304 that is working but fragile condition with original exterior and interior. It was purchased in Paris several years ago and driven less than 500 miles since. Its a 4 door column shift, and front wheel drive. thanks if interested.
  3. 1986 Peugeot 505 STI for sale in Las Vegas, NV. 125000 miles, 2.0 litre engine. The car runs, AC works but is a bit weak. Sunroof will not close completely. Dent at driver rear quarter panel where i was victim of hit and run. I think it can be hammered out.. Rear bumper on driver side pushed forward from same attack. Paint is well worn and she is covered in flat black plasiti-dip, which just peels off. Per local mechanic the "control bars" are badly rusted, the catalytic converter is coming apart inside and the rear calipers need to be replaced. Brian Holm says it is better to just rebuild the brakes and he has a caliper rebuild kit but it must be done carefully to preserve the integrity of the hand brake. The stock radio is gone. I put in a replacement which I would like to keep since it has a cd changer attachment. All outer door handles need replacement. The passenger mirror is sagging and both mirrors must be set manually as electric control stopped working. Be advised this was an East Coast (aka New Jersey) car. Been here in Las Vegas for 2 years now. We drove it out here without any issues. Cruise control is not functional. (Solenoid control broke.) MAKE ME AN OFFER.
  4. I am selling my 1989 505 Turbo 5-speed sedan. It has just under 112,000 miles on the odometer, with about 500 miles traveled after the speedo cable broke. I have received a couple of offers over the past few months, but I don't fancy myself an exotic car dealer, so I am planning to list it on Bring a Trailer at no reserve. I could easily have flipped it with no effort at all, but instead I decided to give it some of the attention it deserves. This was a one-owner car until January. The original owner passed away in 2013, and it sat in a garage for a couple of years. Judging by the crack-free dash and leather, it spent the majority of its life under shelter. A logbook includes entries not just for major service, but for each and every tank of gas. The car originally lived in Maryland, then moved with its owner to Tennessee about 15 years ago. From what I've learned, they had several Peugeots, but this was the only one they kept. Here is a list of improvements since I brought the car home in February: • Euro headlamps • Valve adjustment • New spark plugs • Good set of OEM plug wires installed • Powdercoated valve cover, intercooler bracket, heat shield, and front lift bracket • Crappy nuts and washers replaced with proper metric stainless • Stripped and repainted intercooler • Rebuilt left front caliper and replaced brake hose • Brake light switch repaired • Fifth alloy wheel procured for spare • Side trim refurbished • Turbo intake hose repaired • PCV valve replaced • Side marker replaced • Damaged wheel center cap replaced • Catalytic converter heat shield repaired • Driver side mirror motor replaced • New old stock lower speedometer cable installed • Air filter housing customized to accept Lexus SC430 filters • Radio antenna motor replaced • Four new stereo speakers installed • Leather cleaned and conditioned • Window switch replaced I'm probably forgetting something. The sunroof works. All the windows work. The A/C does not at the moment, but I'll be checking that out this week. There is one spot of bubbling paint on the front left fender the size of a quarter, but underneath the chassis is cleaner than any Peugeot I've ever owned. Wait, that isn't saying much. Just look at the last couple of pictures. No holes, no splitting seams, no blistered wheel arches. The logbook mentions some bodywork and paintwork due to a tree branch falling on the car. There are three small dings still visible on the hood, but the paint is glossy and you can only see them from a certain angle. There is some smoke at startup - warm or cold - for about 3-5 seconds. Once running, it is smoke-free, whether on or off the throttle at speed. Over 500+ miles, driving from Knoxville, Tennessee, to Arlington, Virginia, the oil level changed by maybe 1-2mm. According to the logbook, both the cylinder head and turbo have been replaced. The car is on its fourth speedometer cable. This thing was babied by a proud owner who gave it whatever was needed. I have uploaded an album with more photos: https://flickr.com/phot…/41474352@N00/sets/72157665038087702 I will be taking more photos and a walk around video soon. I haven't even washed it yet. I just want the word to get around before the auction goes live. This is a rare opportunity, and I hope this car ends up in deserving hands. I can be reached at 703-231-9888 if you'd like to talk in person. Karl
  5. Hello! I'm sadly putting my pug up for sale. Takes a couple tries to start. Unfortunately, I don't have the time and resources to put into it so I'd like to find her a new home. The interior is in great shape: are no cracks in the dashboard, the seats are great other than a couple tears in the passenger seat. The engine is clean and the exterior could use a fresh coat of paint. 86,707 Miles. Car was purchased in the Atlanta area and kept around Georgia. I've kept it in a covered open garage for 3.5 years I've had it. Asking $3000 and open to offers. I've owned her for 4 years and have done this work: 2013 Head gasket repair Starter replaced Tires 2014 Both fuel pumps replaced 2016 Tune-up including new spark plugs and cables New battery Full details here: http://bobbykircher.com/1984-peugeot-505-for-sale
  6. I recently purchased this 505 wagon from its original owner.. Odometer shows 126,000 but owner said its closer to 150,000. Car was purchased here in Tucson so it has ZERO rust.. Still has original owners manual, warranty booklet and service records packet from the factory.. If any of you have read my previous posts the car does run though it does stall when ideling in drive and restarts and can be driven again.. It's almost as if idle is set too low for emissions testing.. A couple of the doors won't open from the inside or outside I'm told it's a common problem if they haven't been used.. I have ordered a few interior parts that were broken and have found 1 refurbished 14" alloy wheel.. The previous owner had had it sitting awhile and hadn't been driving it.. Unfortunately it's suffering the same fate in my care.. I just don't feel the chemistry for this car I should., I just can't get past the ambulance / hearse like rear end and the football shaped instrument cluster.. The car needs to find a home with someone who truly appreciates it and wants to restore it. Asking $900 just want out of it what I've got in it email me at [email protected] or call 602-820-5900 Thanks, Scott
  7. * PARTING OUT 505 V-6 sedan This 1988 V-6 505 sedan has "organ donated" to keep "Rossa" our red V-6 sedan on the road. The engine, transmission, and brake master cylinder have been removed from the mostly complete chassis. The interior is grey leather, and there are a car-load of good parts to help keep other 505s running. So, available is an engine that runs, but smokes white- indicating a probable head gasket problem... Also available is 1) broken, and 1) good automatic transmission, and a couple of brake masters (? re-build-able.) Let me know what you need, make a reasonable offer for the whole batch, or the parts you need... Thank you.

  11. I have a '88 505 Turbo that was given to me by an old man on a farm. According to him the car had been parked for about 6 years. He originally bought it for his son but he broke the transmission and left it. Old man put in new trans and then it got stolen, ignition and stereo ripped out. It was recovered by the police and Old Man just left it out in his field. I found it by accident buried under weeds almost hit it with the tractor. Long story short Old Man said I could have it. I was going to scrap it but felt I should at least try to get it started. Two days later Success! Now the problems: 1. They don't make parts anymore. 2. They are not found in any of the local junk yards. 3. I need a wiring diagram, it is a mess. I wired the fuel pump to the ignition which is a tractor switch and it works the headlights too. Don't know why? 4. I could use a repair manual, I found some online but all seem to skip my year and model. Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Located in South East, Colorado - USA Pictures later today.
