  1. Nice to hear from you guys. The guy I sold my car to finally emailed me back and unfortunately I'm sad to say he scrapped my car. Unfortunate for sure.
  2. Yeah I know right! The SR probably only makes 220 to the wheels but I feel like it makes more since I can usually spin 255s into 3rd gear. I still have the 3000GTs, just put a motor in my VR4. Having some issues with it running lean and this annoying winter not letting me finish it up. Should make about 450hp when it's done and tuned. I still email the dude who bought my 505 all the time hoping one day he'll respond but I fear for no luck. I've never been able to find another 505 turbo on craigslist either, ever. If I knew then what I knew now I'd just have swapped in a KA24 or an SR into my Peugeot and welded up brackets and things for S13 240 suspension. I bet the car would have been an animal. lol Miss that damn thing. lol. By the way, the changes to the site are wicked
  3. How is everyone! I'm sure at this point there are probably like 3 members who still remember me, lol. Anyhow I tried emailing the guy I sold my 505 to a ton of times and at the beginning he wanted to sell the car back to me but then eventually he disappeared. My father used to see him drive his 505D to work every day and eventually that stopped so I don't know if he moved or if he died or what. I'll never find another 505 Turbo like mine for as long as I live unfortunately. Mehhh. In other news I bought a 94 240sx convertible and started drifting. Knowing what I know now I would have just kept the Pug and dropped in an SR20 and took that to the track. DOH. Can't say I'm not having fun but damn I miss that car! In other news is Bean still around? I think he's about the only one I still remember off the top of my head.   4. Yeah I noticed the new look, pretty sweet! Yeah If I got a 505T I was seriously thinking of SR20 swapping it, partialy because it's freaking cool, partly because they're easy as shit to get parts for lol. Everything else on the car is easily fabricatable other than engine parts haha. The main reason I want a T is because of the ground effects package, it would be impossible to get otherwise lol.   5. This is flipping awesome. Here in the stated we have a racing series called the 24 hours of lemons. You gotta buy a car and set it up (minus safety equip) for under $500 and race in endurance races. Theres a bunch throughout the country, it's really cool, cars look alot of the same haha. Really awesome!
  6. Hey guys whats crackalackin? Been a while since I checked in. Was trying to buy my 505 Turbo back from the guy who I sold it to but he stopped returning my emails (this was like last year at least). I think he scrapped it unfortunatly. Very sad . Always looking out on craigslist for another cheap 505T, even if I can't afford to fix it up I could always keep it in the "personal section" of my friends junkyard and tarp it until I'm ready, none the less can't find a damn one! Really want a MT 505T but thats like asking for the queen of england to moon me. In the mean time I picked up a rare 1994 Nissan 240SX Convertible. 1 of 1391, only 8000ish verts ever produced. Mines manual swapped and setting up for a T25 turbo setup. Parts are cheap and easy to get and it's my RWD replacement for the Turbo for now. One day I'll get my damn 505 and set it up for drifting lol, just to be unique. Anyhowwww, hows everyone and their 505s doing over here? Hows bean doing? That shop in NH still up and running? That was about the only place I could get any parts haha. -Matt
  7. Maybe I can pop the motor out of the wrecked 88 and transplant it into my 86. Being the 88 is an EA motor and mines an E, if I use my existing wiring harnass will the setup bolt right up? Matt
  8. there's no body rust (minus like a tiny tiny spot on the passenger back door sill and above the drivers side corner marker) The engine bay wasn't bad either, the issue was like the underside of the back portion of the car. The only thing I worry about is the makeshift boost controller was basically cranked closed. How strong are the bottom ends of these motors? I'm pretty damn sure it was hellishly over boosted. I'm going to email him and his wife back and see what the other details are. Rust or not, it was still MY pug lol. And granted the 505 community consists of like 6 people you guys are all nice and helpful and it's nice to post on here. Would be cooler if I could swap in an LS1 or something ridiculous into it, haha. Matt
  9. lol, so my cylinder head is going to cost twice as much as my entire car? lolololol. That's a reasonable price but it's just funny when you think about it. Is it possible to rebuild the head I have on the car now or is the chance of getting those parts nearly nill. Would it be possible to swap in another motor? Like a Non N9T without a huge hassle? Maybe drop in something that's easier to get parts for, maybe an SR20 swap from a 240? Matt
  10. Alright so the story, I can get my old car back for $250 however it needs a valve job. Is it possible to buy the parts for this or is that just a wasted effort? Would it be easier to just buy another head? Where could I locate a good one?
  11. I actualy like it. Even if it looks like all new cars and they do all look the same, it would still be rare to see one on the road. Speaking of which I saw a 206 monday after school. it was an omen lol
  12. ^yeah I assume it wouldn't be too hard to get adapters made, my stupid friend did it for his audi to put vw wheels on lol so why not a pug. If I got it and got it to that stage I'd like to make it like the red car in the modded 505's picture section. i love that thing
  13. ^haha always works out like that! The only thing is I wish these cars had a normal bolt pattern so I could change wheels to something a little more updated lol.
  14. Well potential good news. I emailed the guy who bought my car. His wife replied to me basically saying. It runs but it needs a bit of work still and he's directed his attention to an old Subaru and he's restoring that. She asked if I'd be possibly interested in buying it back. So I'm going to possibly go that route if possible. My interior would have been mint with some detailing, the only problem was the underside was a bit rusty. Actually alot rusty. If you punched the inside of the quarter panel rust would come off in sheets lol. The visual body of the car had nearly 0 rust what so ever, and the paint was great minus a little bit of streaking on the hood. If the motor and trans is sound then I wouldnt mind dealing with the rest. I would be willing to take the rear subframe and shit out to de-rust and paint and replace parts as needed (or as I can get em) hm

  16. Well for $800 would the 89 be worth parting out? Is there enough desire for parts on here for it? It's funny that you guys are on here and know about the car I'm talking about. He told me about the automatic trade falling thru haha. If anything I'd pick up the 88 however with 300k miles thats ALOT. Likely I'd repaint it myself no matter which car I got lol. We're talking about it and I don't think hes willing to go low enough for what I think it's worth. I love these cars for some stupid, crazy, idiot reason. It's a square box from France and yet I can't not want one. Really if anything I want my old car back. I keep emailing the guy who I sold it to asking how it's doing and he now never messages me back. My dad sees it on the road every now and again. I wish that i could have kept it and gotten the VR4. I mean no regrets on my purchase because I got one hell of a steal and the car is gorgeous and soooo much fun but god I miss that car for the $500 bucks I sold it for. Was very rusty underneath but none the less it was MINE. f f f f f f why did i sell that car. I want a manual 505 t in the slate blue. If my 505 was an mt rather than an auto-tragic I wouldn't ever have thought of giving it away. Matt
  17. I dot these forums now and again wanting another damn 505 because i'm a stupid ass idiot and sold mine. Anyhow I'm looking at an 89 505 turbo. automatic unfortunatly. It's got the factory ground effects package however it needs a headlight, fender, hood and possibly front bumper since the car was hit. to my knowledge theres no frame damage or anything of the sort. it's got the wing and the less common tail light style with the black center piece. How hard would it be to get parts to fix this one? I havn't seen too many with the factory body kit for sale and it would be a sweet car to modify. I so want to show up at some euro car shows with an attention getter 505 and have people go "what's that?, it's hot" My other option is an 86 or 88 (I forget year) 505 turbo manual. It's a bit out of my price range but the car is very cool too, it's got the regular, every day, 505T look just like my old one with the tiny lip wing and regular bumpers. Should I get another pug? I can't decide. I need a daily driver. My 3kgt's break daily lol. Also what mpg's do you guys get out of these little french rocketships Matt oh and updates on the 3000's. The 93 ES now has a quaife LSD and agressive cams. The VR4 is being setup for real 15G turbos, 550cc injectors, meth and an SAFC2, in progress. Looking for 450+whp
  18. So do I want a Peugeot 505 T again or do I want to be impratical and get a Mitsubishi Starion with a 302 V8 crammed in it? Ughhhh And no the VR4 never sees dirt. Current runs a 13.3 @ 105mph on the quarter. The blue one is currently the 2nd fastest trapping NA FWD 3S at 97mph
  19. if I bought the red one I would not alter it in any way. I'd go tot he extent of putting on a euro plate, a mild exhaust system (becuase the turbo was so damn loud on my last one with no mufflers) and a mild sound system. The other one I'm looking at that I'd molest is silver and the guy's like bla bla bla I just dont want it and have no time. lol
  20. i highly doubt he'll sell it for cheap. I think I have $700 cash. I have $6,000 in the bank but I want to like, get a college education. I've been staring at it for 2 days now. Can someone please explain why these cars are addicting... I dont understand, they're square and not super exciting, yet I want another hit of this peugeot weed. hey whats up norcal, how ya been? if I'm going to spend $700 on rare rotors...I'm going with a 4 x 100 or a 5 lug conversion. period. Not worth that much for rotors. God forbid I need some, It'll probably be cheaper to have them machined myself! lol
  21. Well there happens to be a pretty well used Peugeot 505T not too far from me for sale for dirt. I'm considering picking it up because....I dont know...     Fiat 500's

    My mom has fallin in love with the new Fiat 500's, specificaly the Abarth SS and she's pretty much willing to murder to get one. Any info if and or when they're comming to the states? or of anyone who can import a legal one? Matt
