Savo, around me i have a bunch of merc people. They are worse to talk to then subaru folks, they swear that the C36 amg is better and faster then the C43 amg, is there any truth in that. In my opinion there cars are only good for making tire smoke, i've watched them get bit in a straight line by fiesta ST, haha. Is the 1 liter bigger engine worthy upgrade.
Rabin, Around the house there is always work to be done, pavers are looking great. I have the opposite problem, i've been working on cars many and need to do some house work, my lower floor bathroom needs new water pipes and fittings, from the looks i'll just end up knocking everything down and starting fresh.
at Subaru comment
In my opinion C43 is better, it has nicer interior, better electrical components, nicer running engine, better fuel injection and so on... yeah 5.4 makes these cars in to a beast! Perfect power to weight ratio.

Are these still available?

This past weekend I was busy with my customers car a 1999 C43 AMG and she’s getting heart transplants! Engine is running great but he wants 5.4L power so he found low milage engine from 2001 E55 AMG.We are still waiting on seals, gaskets and service parts but I was able to replace V/C and intake manifold gaskets. I managed to clean up most of it and I’m hopping to have oil pan switched and cleaned the rest of the engine by Thursday.
Engine bay will be cleaned up this Saturday before we install engine back in.

I would strongly advise to contact Mr. Jürgen! It’s amazing what that man can come up with (NOS parts)

If I may sir I would advise on parking it and stop sending money on it and send it this way at SavoSpec’s when you are ready!
She cleaned up nice and looks amazing

Lately I’ve noticed small oil stain where I park it and I keep everything clean and organized so this is totally unacceptable!
Oil was definitely leaking and it was gear oil and it was coming from speed O ring/speedo adapter and luckily I had all parts in stock! Most of these parts are OEM and this is perfect reason why I keep/buy x2 or more parts for these cars and every time I use something out of my stock I immediately reordered whatever I used so I have it for next time.
While I was at it I noticed steering rack boots stared to show cracks (everything was replaced when I was waiting for engine) so might as well replace them while I was in the neighborhood. Factory material on these boosts is very thin so they don’t last very long time, I also used good old MT90 oil and would not ever use anything else.
Wait a minute mister! You had steering ram bushings in stock as well?
I should also add that wheel spacers came in with new lug bolts and washers.

Detective Coating is who I use, he’s a friend and they are located in Virginia.
They have many different ways to get in touch and Justin would be the one to answer your question, I just send it and he gets it done for me.

Finally! I got my 406 HDI rotors and calipers from powder coater! These were at he’s place for about four months! We both forgot about this project few weeks ago he messaged me about none familiar parts and with title”these must be Peugeot parts is this yours?”
I got new hardware and rebuilt kit from UK, I definitely know what I’m up to this Saturday.

Well done sir, nice to see another one back on the road.

For few weeks now I noticed that my tachometer would not work at all times, at first I was suspecting faulty Spoox tachometer adapter for GTI6 engines but then I remember to try dash tap trick first and sure enough it would come back to life.
Today I visited the graveyard for spare clusters so I can swap out tachometer parts and when I was taking my apart I noticed that connector on tachometer circuit board was extremely loose and it was just about to fall off! I have no idea how did it came loose as mounting tabs were not broken and it clicked in just like it was made to do so, I gave it few wiggles and it was all good, stayed in nice and firm.
Once instrument cluster was installed I drove it around the block and everything was back to normal:-)

I added two front porch lights as they never existed and it was always too dark on that side, assembled pergola kit where bbq is at and made a raised bad for garden to grove some vegetables.
Luckily someone added water bib and 220V in that area for spa and I already order 60A box to finish it and I’ll use 110V out of it to power my WIFI sprinkler controller and LED lights. My mom helped me to plant bunch of flowers and fruit trees.

I still work full time and most of my spare time is around my house.

265’s soft compound works great for me, first gear always spin and with right tire and temperature first gear can hook as well.
