  1. I love MI16's :-) Im glad you like yours 405s are awesome driving cars. I made my own camber plates and top part of the strut is 18mm. I can measure my spair struts this weekend and let you know. I may have extra blend door motor...

  5. Well there was almost NO more MI16 on Sunday at 4:30am. My friends were celebrating two year anniversary and they wanted to have all bridesmaids and groomsmen present,so as I don't drink I was DD and I had to show off in MI16 to let them know that Peugeots are bad ass :-) on the way to dinner I was driving like a 17 year old in 24 year old car, taking corners fast ETC and other friend with 2011 IS250 she was driving the same way butshe could not hang and gave up (she just sold her EVO and R1,also there were no cars around and I did nog drive that stupid were I could indanger someones life) On the way home I enter corner bit too fast and rear got loose and end up spining it 180*,facing in wrong direction and on the wrong side of the street. Lucky for me there was no other vehicles around and we all stayed in one pice including MI16. Right after that I told my self that's what you get for driving like a 17 year old...dumb ass... I totaly forgot that MI16 is not my AWD cars with LSD and sticky tires so leson learned.
  6. I need two of those my self. Thanks for the link.

  14. This thing is so bad ass.1.8 seconds from 0-60 MPH's. http://www.motorsport.com/hillclimb/news/208-t16-pikes-peak-sebastien-loeb-first-track-tests/
  15. Hey guys I got my A/C fixed few weeks back on my MI16 and I stumbled across incorrect wiring diagram so I would like to share this info with you if for some reason you run in to same problem. My compressor was not getting 12 volts so I checked all basics freon, pressures ETC and all checked OK but still compressor did not want to engage.Next thing I did was to quickly swap A/C module and climate temp module and still my compressor did not engaged,at that point I printed wire diagram and started to look.I got wire diagarm of all data and factory one from Brian and both are incorrect. According to wire diagram with key in ON or run position from fuse F18 WIRE 33 goes to A/C switch in OFF position and applies voltage to pin 2 in control module(wire 3) With A/C switch in ON position voltage gets removed from pin 2 (wire 3) and then module applies voltage at pin 1 (wire 6) which appllies voltage to A/C compressor. After some time looking at it I applied voltage to wire 6 at pin 1 from pin 9 that has constant voltage and compressor would work but A/C module would turned it off in few seconds, which made me think that he's not reciving signal from pin two to engage compressor. Next thing I did was to see if there is at any time voltage at pin 2 and with A/C switch off or there was no voltage present so I applied voltage from pin 9 to pin 2 and /C compressor started to work and it works to this day. So correction is : F18 fuse has voltage to A/C switch in off position AND DOES NOT APPLIE VOLTAGE TO PIN 2 IN OFF POSSIITION AS WIRE DIAGRAM STATES.It applies voltage to pin 2 when A/C switch is ON and that is comand to A/C module to applie voltage to pin 1 to turn compressor on. My A/C awitch was bad and did not applie voltage at any times on pin 2. Here are two pictures. Thanks guys.
  16. WoW that thing is bad ass.I love 80's early 90's GTI VW. Good luck with the sale.
  17. I still have the wagon and I would love to have it on the road again some day. I might do 4g63 AWD swap.
  18. I could share my Peugeot history but it's not as old or cool as some above. All started back in 1992 in Serbia,I was 11 at the time when my eye site landed on MI16. As a kid I loved the way car looked and at the same time I was collecting car cards(very similar to baseball cards) First card that was on the top was always red 405 MI16 and I had them all the way till 98 before I left to USA where I gave them to family friends kid. In 97 when I turned 16 and I stared to drive and work on cars but 205GTI and 405MI16 was out of price range and somewhat hard to fined. MKII Golf was too common so I settled for Ford XR2 and XR3(RS Turbo was out of price range) In 99 I got job In Euro shop where I worked and drove my first MI16,I was amazed how easy was to work on them and do MI16 swap to none MI16 405 cars. I loved the way MI16 engine sounds and how well the car drove. In 2002 owner purchased 91 405 Wagon and just a few short days later I talked him in to getting donor car for a swap. After few days 91 silver donor car was at the shop and swap was done, few days after that I got Wagon stripped for paint. That summer I quit to move on for better work place at near by Dealership,as years were getting by I was getting older and dragged away from Peugeot to the point where they got forgotten by Savo. Here and there I talked to Euro shop owner and last year (2012) I got a call from him regarding 405 Wagon, and I was told it will go to scrap yard if Im not interested. It's hard to explain how I felt after that phone call with all those memory's about that car and was simply amazed that he still had it. Long story short the tow and Wagon was free. Wagon was in bad state do to weather exposure and it was in the same state I left it in 2002.Pretty much only good thing left was 90.000 mile engine and transmission used from donor car. I was disappointed and knew another 405 MI16 would be near impossible to fined.Day after day I looked on Craigs list with hope and two months later red 89 405 MI16 with bad engine was for sale.I could not believe my luck that there are some still left and all it needed was engine swap. 405 MI16 was three hours away and I knew no matter in what state car was in I was buying it. She was barn fined and not in very good condition as described but purchase price of $500 was talking to me and I bought it. It would be long five days till I could see my 405 MI16 but free three hour tow was worth the wait. When I got the news that she arrived I left work in rush to see my childhood dream car on my drive way,and boy ohhh boy was I happy to see it :-) right away I removed interior to wash all the nasty stuff that was there followed by carpet, dash and engine replacement. Few short days later she was alive passed smog and 12.000 miles later still on the road.Im very happy the way she drives and sounds,Im enjoying every single minute spent behind the steering wheel of that car and I remind my self every day of the car cards and first car that was on top of them all. She was a long journey, very stubborn to get it running and at times hair pulling was necessary but nothing the less very happy with it.The photo angle on the car cards was the same angle my profile picture was taken :-) Im hopping you all enjoyed my Peugeot story. Thank you
